fieldXperience Officially Launches
Live event and academic industry veterans Sharyn Outtrim and Dr. Joey-Lynn Bialkowski joined forces earlier this year to launch fieldXperience - an innovative tech company that combines work-ready skills training with real-world experiences at world-class events. fieldX turbo-charges the career paths of students while filling an enormous need for trained and qualified talent at live events.
Their goal? Make fieldX a household name in higher education and among high-profile events like the Super Bowl, Olympics, NCAA® Championships and Formula 1 to name a few for experiential micro-internships.
fieldX Micro-Internship Event Recaps
More than 20 fieldXers recently worked at the Formula 1 Emirates United States Grand Prix at Circuit of Americas in Austin, Texas. These bold and bright students represented six colleges and received high praise from the Circuit of Americas' management - aka Leaders - regarding their leadership and top-notch problem solving skills in a variety of areas at this vast five square-mile venue which hosted more than 250,000 races fans over the weekend.
We take great pride in crafting a fieldXperience that benefits both Leaders and students (Learners) in any industry.
Kate Kirchoff, a three-time fieldXer from Adrian College, worked the Leadercast Women event in Atlanta, Georgia and had the opportunity to listen to Emmy-award winning Kate Delaney and other empowering women.
Kate's role as Speaker Talent Host included the responsibilities of notifying the Leadercast speakers of when their time on stage approached as well as attending to their needs. Her mentor, Angie Ahrens, was thoroughly impressed with her outgoing and proactive nature.
"I never would have had an opportunity like this without fieldXperience."
