This passion has brought us together to create something new. Our team has created the only educational platform that combines mobile-based micro-learning with a series of micro-work experience opportunities to demonstrate and solidify new power (soft) skills.
We are reinventing the path to career readiness by focusing on transferable skills training and practical application to create workforce heroes. Simply put, we are reverse-engineering the talent development, acquisition and engagement process.
Meet the team
For over 25 years, Sharyn has been a high end producer in sales, business development and operations in sports, entertainment, conventions, hospitality and travel. She is a well-connected professional who builds partnerships with organizations that translate into enhanced user experiences and higher net returns. Sharyn is a recognized leader for the ability to turn around an organization by improving process, driving strategy and building high performance teams. Some of the key organizations Sharyn has held positions include PrimeSport, National Football League, Georgia Dome, WDC Convention Center, Four Seasons Hotels. Sharyn has a strong track record of success in the strategy and event execution for organizations at some of the world’s most prestigious, widely viewed and well attended sports and entertainment events, including but not limited to: (26) Super Bowls, (48) NCAA Championships, (38) College Bowl Games, (13) BCS/CFP Championships, (17) PGA Championships, (1) Olympics, (2) Presidential Campaigns/Inaugurals, (8) A-List Concerts. Sharyn's superpower: X-Ray vision that sees through obstacles to spot opportunities and connect invisible dots.
Over the past 13 years, Dr. Bialkowski has developed, proposed and launched 6 undergraduate and graduate programs in Sport & Hospitality Business as well as Organizational Leadership and Administration at three accredited institutions of higher learning (NCAA and NAIA). Dr. Bialkowski’s passion for empowering and creating professional opportunities for students to develop, both in and out of the classroom, as tomorrow’s industry leaders is immense. Throughout her career, she has procured experiential learning opportunities and partnerships with numerous organizations including the Super Bowl, PrimeSport, ESPN Wisconsin Sports Awards, the NCAA Final Four, and many more. Through these partnerships combined with Dr. Bialkowski’s hands-on approach, students have been given the platform for professional development and live-event experience. Dr. Bialkowski holds a Bachelors in Sport Management from Brock University in Ontario Canada, a MBA in Sport Administration from Canisius College in Buffalo New York, and completed her doctoral degree in Leadership Administration from Concordia University Chicago in Chicago Illinois. Joey-Lynn's superpower: A magical gardener planting seeds in people to be empowered by their strengths.
Angela is the CEO at fieldXperience.
Grant Edwards is our Chief Financial Officer. He has been the CFO for multiple small and mid-market companies. These include an energy company, an entertainment and theatre company, a durable medical equipment company, a receivable factoring business and an executive travel company. His Big 4 CPA experience includes consulting positions with Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Andersen. Mr. Edwards is a professor of entrepreneurship and finance at Georgia State University. He holds a Masters in Accountancy from East Carolina University and is a licensed CPA in Georgia and North Carolina.
Chris Davis is Vice President of Business Operations for fieldXperience. With over 9 years of experience in the startup space, Chris has extensive experience managing business units, introducing new mobile app solutions to market, developing programs, managing projects, speaking at industry trade shows and conventions, and solving complex challenges to drive results. Chris comes to us with industry experience, previously working to connect some of the country’s top brands to top high school academic and athletic talent through mobile app-powered events. Chris holds a BA from Duke University, where he served as team captain of the Blue Devils Football Team, and a MBA from Emory University. Chris is passionate about introducing young students and athletes to opportunities they traditionally would not have access to. Chris' superpower is: Supernatural active listening powers that can solve complex challenges to drive results.
Vanessa is a sales leader with over 10 years of experience in business development and a passion for leading sales teams. She kicked-off her career in 2009 with a move to Atlanta, GA from Buffalo, NY and has found her purpose in helping organizations clarify and deliver their value proposition, engage and delight future clients, develop sales teams, and grow. Vanessa’s fieldX superpower is Collaboration. She believes that sales teams grow and develop exponentially when winning strategies are shared among colleagues…especially when they celebrate one another’s success.
Dr. Haertel is the Director of Learning Experience and Design with fieldXperience. She has over 15 years of experience in assessments, training, leadership development and coaching. She is passionate about working with individuals and teams to create a growth mindset as well as, helping them find the right tools to accomplish their developmental goals. As a member of the fieldX team Kerry creates microlearning courses focusing on development in the areas of emotional intelligence, teamwork, critical thinking, work ready soft skills, and any client specific trainings. Kerry completed her undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin and holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology. In her free time Kerry enjoys reading, running, volunteer work and spending time with family and friends.
Tyler Langston is a former student athlete at LaGrange College where he was the men’s basketball team captain. He graduated with a BBA and has gained exceptional sales experience in the sport industry. Tyler’s superpower skill is Intangibility: The ability to “go through obstacles” to get better, help others and achieve an end goal.
Ashlee brings over 5 years of successful wedding planning experience with exceptional feedback from each of her clients. Ashlee loves running events for her young professional's group and traveling to new places. Ashlee’s superpower skill is Preparedness: with her ever-ready tool belt, she brings the essential skills to any situation to encourage others and maintain a positive mindset.
Robbea graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design in May 2020. Throughout her collegiate career, she gained 3 years of design experience working two jobs with several corporate and small business clients. As the Creative Visual Designer for fieldX, Robbea works with internal departments and fieldX clients to create on-brand visual elements. Robbea is passionate about all things creative and in her free time she likes draw, paint, crochet, and pick up new creative talents. Her superpower is: Object Manipulation by taking design requests and briefs and manipulating them into bold and beautiful fieldX visuals.
Ivan Ip is an intern for the Learning & Development team for fieldXperience. Ivan is currently a senior at Boston College studying finance and information systems with minors in computer science and applied psychology/human development. Ivan has experience with multiple start-ups ranging from education to rideshare platforms and has interned at several organizations including Ernst & Young and LightHouse Guild. Ivan’s superpower is skill is flexibility. Ivan is always committed to helping others succeed!
